Our Wedding

It all started back in 2014 when we met on a local kickball team. Kara was a last-minute sub, recruited mainly to help fill the female player requirement, and Dave was very serious about the game. Kara didn’t quite realize what she had signed up for...it turned out to be an all-day tournament. Somehow, our team ended up winning! In true Dave fashion, he told Kara she was the MVP and handed her the trophy for the victory photo… even though, let’s be honest, she definitely wasn’t the secret weapon behind the win. Fun fact: Dave kept that trophy all these years, and it’s now a staple in our home decor. After that day, we stayed connected as Facebook friends, occasionally seeing each other pop up in our feeds. Then in 2021, fate (and the algorithm) brought us back together! both single, both ready to reconnect and the rest is history. Since then, we’ve built a life full of laughter, adventure, and plenty of inside jokes. We love traveling together and exploring new places. And somehow, Dave managed the impossible..he turned Kara into not just a Buffalo Bills fan, but an actual football fan (crazy). In 2025, we welcomed our golden retriever, Cheddar, into our world, and life has only gotten more fun (and a little furrier) ever since. One of the things we love most is spending time with our friends and family. They’ve been such a big part of our story cheering us on, laughing with us, and always showing up with love and support. We feel so lucky to be surrounded by the best people and can’t wait to celebrate with everyone on our wedding day. Here’s to the kickball game that started it all, the adventures that followed, and the people who’ve been there through it all. Cheers!
